Midterm Week Reflection

But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” (I Corinthians 2:9 NKJV)

What will the things be? I am curious, but I guess I have to love Him first to know what has planned for me. Or maybe once I started loving Him with all my heart, with all my soul and with all my mind, it would not matter so much what He has prepared for me because being able to love Him alone is a great blessing on earth.

Therefore, pray, hope, and do not worry. Love Him as He has loved us. Nothing is more important than God and the life He gave us to praise His name and to experience His mercy.

《1Q84》

10/15 morning meditation

For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? (Mark 8:36 NKJV)

Tesla’s bond went from 178 straight to 188 over just one night. I started to dream what would happen if I purchased it a year ago when I first discovered this brand and the bond price was then as low as 27.
The reality is that not until it creates profit people realize what they should have done. What about being the child of God? Have I ever pondered this hard and reflected my heart to God what I did wrong and what I should do instead? If I gained the whole world, but lost the spiritual support of my own, what would I really gain? Probably something worldly that is easy and fast to vanish. Nothing can compare to the love of God. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38, 39 NKJV)
May God always be present with us and never forsake me.
