This is an eye-opening book for me since it reveals some unknown aspects of a life that a woman can possibly have. She was truly in love with one guy, had relationships with several, but she could not get married with any of them, leaving her alone with no offspring.
Was she successful? Yes and no.
I admire her courage of wanting to change and her mobility to change; I like her ideas about clothing, and her taste for fashion: “classy and fabulous.” Nonetheless, do women have to give up one thing to obtain the other? Can we possess loyal lover, stable marriage, obedient kids, and successful career at the same time? Are women really created to be possession of men?
